Vic started teaching during college to others in his dorm when approached for help on guitar. Discovering a passion for sharing what he'd learned, now with 28 years of teaching experience including:

4 years at Frets & Strings,

8 combigned years at two Brook Mays locations,

5 years in the Fine Arts Dept. at Hockaday School, and at Jesuit after school in Dallas.

With his own guitar theory book, The Road Map for Your Guitar, he has helped countless aspiring players young and old to become knowledgeable and proficient on guitar.

Many of his students have gone on to pursue writing songs and performing at local coffee shops, restaurants and night spots.

"I think 7 or 8 years old is the perfect age to begin".... And....Vic has held students through their college years, teaches many working professionals, as well as a several retirees learning new things and keeping active!

Vic says your age doesn't matter.. "It just takes the desire to learn how to play!"
